Report an issue
This is the English version of our tenant page. The printed forms and the linked town pages are in German. We usually reply in German, but we are happy to try English if needed.
Damage in your flat, a complaint, a certificate or a question about your service charge statement? Choose your topic and write to us, in English if you like. A short description and photos help us deal with your request faster. You can send the form at any time. We deal with requests on working days. If water is leaking or it is another emergency, please read the emergency information directly below first.
Emergency information
Real emergencies are rare, for example water that cannot be stopped, the heating failing in winter or a power cut in the whole building. In an emergency, please call us: +49 209 81 82 766. If nobody answers, leave a message on the answering machine or report the damage through the form. Further emergency contacts are on the notice posted in your building. If you cannot find any there, we will give them to you on request.
Gas smell or fire: call 112 first, or the emergency service of your gas supplier. If you smell gas, leave the flat, do not touch light switches or electrical devices and only make phone calls once you are outside. Let us know afterwards.
Why in writing?
Everything in one place: your request reaches us with all details and photos, so nothing gets lost.
No office hours needed: you can also write to us in the evening and at weekends.

Forms and certificates
You can do a lot directly online with our form, for example request the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung (landlord’s confirmation of moving in, required for registering your address) for the registration office. Where we need your signature, for example for applications or your notice to end the tenancy, you will find the form to print here.
The forms are in German.

Need a certificate?
Print a PDF form, fill it in and send it signed by post to Moselewski Immobilien, Wilhelminenstr. 100, 45881 Gelsenkirchen, Germany. A scan or an e-mail is not enough for these forms.
Information about your town
Each town sets its own rent index (Mietspiegel), waste collection dates and snow and ice clearance. Here you will find the official pages of the towns where we manage buildings. These pages are in German.

Frequently asked questions
I have damage in my flat. How do I report it?
Fastest through the form above on this page, with the topic “Damage or something is not working”, a short description and photos. We arrange a tradesperson. What applies in an emergency is in the emergency information.
When will I get my service charge statement?
You get the service charge statement (Nebenkostenabrechnung) once a year. By law it must reach you no later than twelve months after the end of the billing period. Ask questions about the statement or your credit balance through the form with the topic “Service charge statement (Nebenkostenabrechnung)”.
I need a rent certificate or another certificate for an authority. How do I get it?
Choose “Request a certificate (e.g. rent certificate)” in the form and the type of certificate. If the authority gave you its own form, upload it there. There is a separate topic for the Wohnungsgeberbestätigung: Request a Wohnungsgeberbestätigung. We issue it and send it to you by post at your new flat.
Who clears the snow and when is the rubbish collected?
Each town handles this differently, and some duties are also set out in your tenancy agreement or the house regulations (Hausordnung). You will find the links for your town above under “Information about your town”.
Can I write to you in English?
Yes. Use the form on this page or write to vermietung@moselewski.de. We usually reply in German, but we are happy to try English if needed.
I am looking for a flat. Where can I find available flats?
All available flats are under Flats to rent. Write to us at vermietung@moselewski.de and we will arrange a viewing.
